A student at breaking point from the weight of expectations of him
Peter is a very bright boy. He is expected to make really really good grades in his upcoming exams.
His parents are always asking the teacher to push him more and not let up on him, Peter is also involved with a number of teams and societies where he is a committed and active participant Peter knows the weight of expectation upon him. His parents tell him what they hope and plan for his future. His friends tease him about how high they expect him to rise, there is so much expectation that Peter feels he has stopped being himself and everything rides on his exam performance.
Peter has found his eating patterns and sleeping patterns falling out of kilter and he knows he is just not quite right. He can’t speak to anyone because no one is listening.
